Warid To Launch 24-hour Healthcare Service Soon..

Warid Telecom is going to launch shortly electronic healthcare services known as Tele Health Services (THS) for all Warid subscribers in cooperation with Japan Bangladesh Friendship Medical Service (JBFMS).
The Tele Health Services is a 24-hour Medical Call Centre managed by the JBFMS and accessible to all Warid subscribers. It can be reached by dialling 10600 & 10601 from all Warid mobile phones.
To this effect, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Warid Telecom Mr. Muneer Farooqui and Chairman of JBFMS Dr. Md. Jonaid Shafiq signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today (Tuesday) on behalf of their respective sides at the Corporate Head Office of Warid Telecom at Banani. Senior officials of Warid Telecom and JBFMS were also present during the signing ceremony.
Commenting on this occasion, Warid Telecom CEO Mr. Muneer Farooqui said, “As we are committed to offering more and more value-added services, we are going to introduce the Tele Health Services to benefit our valued subscribers in the form of healthcare information and registered physicians advice.”
He also hoped that the service would contribute significantly to reaching primary healthcare services to the common people of Bangladesh.
Besides the THS, the country’s fourth largest mobile phone operator also signed a corporate subscribers’ agreement with the JBFMS to provide complete communication services.
Warid CEO Mr. Muneer Farooqui thanked the leading healthcare service provider for choosing Warid telecom’s service to meet its communication needs.
JBFMS Chairman lauded the role of Warid and appreciated for extending support through providing innovative services to the people of Bangladesh. He further stated that both companies will work together as partners in providing services under mutual business understanding.
Among others, Mr. Ashraful H. Chowdhury, General Manager (Government & Operators Relations), Mr. Mahboob Hossain, General Manager (Sales), Mr. Azmat M. Khan, DGM of Warid Telecom and Dr. Sarder A. Nayeem, Managing Director, Mr. Mahbubul Alam, Director, and Mr. Zohair Shafiq, Director of JBFMS attended on the occasion.
